JEE Advanced 2016 Cutoff – The Cutoff  of JEE Advanced 2016 is the minimum marks that a candidate has to score for being eligible to get admission to the undergraduate level engineering courses at IITs and ISM Dhanbad. The Cutoff has been published by IIT Guwahati- the conducting IIT for JEE Advanced 2016. There is an aggregate and subject wise cutoff in JEE Advanced, so for qualifying, every candidate has to score the subject-wise and aggregate qualifying marks in the exam to get listed in rank list of JEE Advanced 2016. JEE Advanced 2016 Cutoff Marks

JEE Advanced 2016 Cutoff:
  • Only the candidates, who will score above the Cutoff, will be considered for the admission in IITs through JEE Advanced 2016.
  • Candidates must note that the JEE Advanced 2016 Cutoff is decided on the basis of various factors like total number of seats available, total number of qualified candidates, etc.
  • JEE Advanced 2016 Cutoff will help the candidates to know their chances of getting shortlisted for admission to IITs and ISM Dhanbad.
Only candidates, who score the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and in aggregate, will be included in the rank list. The minimum prescribed marks varies with the category. These are as shown in the following table-

As many as 1.98 lakh candidates qualified for JEE Advanced 2016, while only 1.56 lakh registered for the coveted engineering entrance test. With the addition of 4 new IITs - IIT Chhattisgarh, IIT Goa, IIT Jammu and IIT Karnataka from the academic year 2016-17, seat intake for undergraduate engineering programmes at IITs will go up by a few hundred from the existing 10,006. As these 4 new IITs will become functional this year, the total number of IITs will be 23 (including ISM) now.

NCHM JEE Cutoff 2016 is the minimum required marks to be scored by the candidates in order to be considered for admissions to any of the participating institutes. The exam authority will announce NCHM JEE 2016 Cutoff Score once the NCHM JEE 2016 Result of the exam is declared.

NCHM JEE 2016 All India Rank (AIR) is allotted to the candidates based on their performance in the written exam. Once the All India Ranks of NCHMCT JEE 2016 are announced, candidates are called for counselling phase. The NCHM Counselling Procedure will start from May 23, 2016.  All India NCHM JEE 2016 Merit List 2016 is made on the basis of score obtained by the candidates in the JEE Written Test. In case of two or more candidates securing equal marks, the merit is determined through the following procedure:

  • Candidate, who secured higher marks in English section of NCHM JEE, will rank higher;
  • If candidates have obtained equal marks in NCHM JEE as well as in English section of the written test, the candidate, who secured higher marks in Service Aptitude Component of NCHM JEE, will rank higher;
  • If there is a tie in (1) and (2) above, the candidate, who is older in age, will rank higher.

The 3-hour NCHM JEE, conducted on April 30, contained as many as 200 questions, carrying a total of 200 marks. The most apt answer gets 1 mark, followed by 0.75, 0.5, 0.25 marks respectively. Negative marking of 0.25 marks applies on every wrong answer marked by the candidates.

The class 12th CBSE HSC results 2016 will be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) tomorrow (May 21). As per the latest alert by TOI the CBSE XII 2016 results will be declared tomorrow at 12 noon. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted the class 12th (XII) board exam 2016 in March-April 2016, the results of the same will be announced tomorrow online. The CBSE Board Class 12th results 2016 will be available to the students on May 21, 2016 at 12 noon on the official website of the board.

The CBSE class XII results will be declared on Saturday by  12 noon on the official website of the board CBSE.nic.in & cbseresults.nic.in. Students are requested to keep their hall tickets handy to check their CBSE class 12th HSC results 2016 online. Earlier it was announced that the results of the CBSE class 12th is likely to be declared on Monday, May 23, 2016, but now it will be declared on May 21, 2016. APSC declares Combined Competitive (Main) Exam, 2014 results

The Assam Public Service Commission has declared the results of the Combined Competitive (Main) Exam, 2014 today with 1536 candidates taking the examination out of 2O48 applicants, said an APSC release here.

Based on the results of the C C Exam, 2014, a total of 371 candidates are declared qualified to appear in the viva-voce interview against 180 posts of ACS and Allied Services at the ratio of 1:2 plus the number of candidates who secured equal marks at the bottom line of each category with due regards to the prescribed reservations as per the terms of the advertisement, the release said.

Out of the 371 candidates called for viva-voce, 126 candidates are women and eight belong to Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category, it said.

The Commission has decided to hold the viva-voce interview tentatively from June 15.

The results could also be downloaded from the APSC's website www.apsc.nic.in, the release added.
